24 Dec 03 Photographs from Firehawks v Mercian and the Sparrowhawks scrimmage during the recent Hawks v Telford game have now been added to each team's games report page. Links to these pages can be found on the individual team pages. Congratulations to the Eagles for their recent 3-1 win against North Ayr and capture of the North Ayr Challenge trophy. A good result with a reduced squad and a great debut by Gareth Adshead on loan from the Firehawks.

8 Dec 03 Inline UK Announcement - After months of negotiations, In-Line is pleased to announce that it has acquired the Sheffield Ice Rink situated at Queens Road, Sheffield. This is an exciting development for our business and accordingly we can now offer ice activities as well as our usual Roller Hockey activities at Sheffield and Hartlepool. We will spend the next 2/3 weeks evaluating the business, after which time it is envisaged that we can bring our vast experience of operating Roller Hockey, Leagues and tournaments to the ice at Queens Road. Mini Poll Result - The recent mini poll resulted in an 88% majority in favour of the use of the Hockey Nest logo as the BIHDA logo. Many thanks to all of you who took the time to vote.

6 Dec 03 Blackburn Eagles game, at home v Sheffield A, has now been rescheduled and will be played on 14 Feb 04.

5 Dec 03 Blackburn Ice Hockey Development Skateathon - The BIHDA are holding a skateathon to raise funds for the Association. The event will take place between 4.45pm and 5.45pm on Sunday 14 December at Blackburn Arena. Sponsorship forms have been sent out to the players. Please give generously and support Ice Hockey in Blackburn. Come down to the Arena, watch the skateathon and stay for the Firehawks game at 6pm against Mercian of Coventry.
